Owner-Manager
After the sudden death of Mr. Weiss – Vienna’s last soap maker in Stadlau – in 2006, Sonja Baldauf (born in Vorarlberg, Austria) decided with 100% conviction to make Vienna her new home, for these incomparably good soaps must live on. Since that time, she unwaveringly heads this small company and keeps Vienna, and the world, well lathered up with her iconic products. Soap is the air she breathes and her employees know best how dedicated she, above all, works for the wellbeing of her customers. She masterly holds the fragrant strings in her hand.
Christoph Hegglin
Soap Maker
Passionately and untiringly, he conjures up soap after soap; one can hardly believe how each new sort gets even better than the one before. Born a Swiss citizen, he came to Vienna in 2010 to become a soap maker and support Sonja Baldauf – as he always has for nearly two decades on their personal journey together through life. Many thanks go to his infinitely valuable engagement.
Our Production Team
The diligent hands of our colleagues in the soap-cutting and packaging departments are to thank for the beautiful and “well-dressed” presentation of our soaps. They enjoy the comfortable working atmosphere and the daily changing fragrances in the manufactory.

Caroline Baldauf
Manager of our Swiss Store and Quality Manager
Caroline is Sonja Baldauf’s and Christoph Hegglin’s daughter and the founder of Wiener Seife Schweiz GmbH. She heads our charming boutique store (with the same flair of our main shop in Vienna) in the heart of Switzerland, since October 2017. This she does with utmost care and pleasure; devotedly involved in the development of the family business and dedicated to impressing Swiss customers with Wiener Seife. Caroline additionally supports the company’s team in the areas of GMP and quality management.
